Rookie quarterback John Skelton

Broncos blown out in Arizona in Studesville’s debut
The Cardinals (4-9) snapped a seven-game losing streak against Denver thanks in no small part to their kicker.
was personally responsible for the first 22 Cardinals points as he kicked five field goals and ran a faked field goal in for a touchdown in the second quarter.
After Feely’s fifth field goal on the first play of the fourth quarter, CBS flashed the score as Jay Feely 22, Denver 3.
Tim Hightower would get the Cardinals’ offense on the board midway through the fourth quarter with a pair of touchdowns runs to ice the game.
Hightower rushed for a game-high 148 yards on 18 carries, including a 35-yard touchdown scamper.
Arizona rookie Daryl Washington finished the onslaught, intercepting Orton and returning it 40 yards for the game’s final touchdown.
Rookie quarterback John Skelton, a fifth-round pick out of Fordham, made his first start for the Cardinals and while his numbers weren't stellar, he didn't make any big mistakes. He completed 15 of 37 passes for 146 for a rating of 52.3, but was not sacked and did not throw an interception.
The loss may have been the most disappointing for Denver (3-10) as this looked to be the most winnable game left on the schedule and the effort of some of the players was in question.
“We’ll have to look at the film and see if everyone gave it all they had. There are some question marks, I will say that," linebacker Mario Haggan told the Denver Post.
Studesville was attempting to be the third interim head coach this season to win their opening game,Ronde Barber Jersey. Jason Garrett of the Dallas Cowboys and Leslie Frazier had done so earlier in the season and were a combined 5-1 headed into this week’s games.
It now seems the only question remaining for this Broncos team is if rookie will get a shot to start at quarterback. Tebow did not see action in this game, despite Orton appearing to be banged up on the sidelines and the game being out of hand in the fourth quarter.
“We did not feel like Kyle was in a position that we needed to do that,” Studesville said.
Running back Knowshon Moreno was a bright spot, rushing for 81 yards on 19 carries and a touchdown. He has now rushed for 462 yards in the past five games after rushing for just 252 yards in his first five games of the season.
Rookie cornerback , did not start, but saw action, finishing with three tackles and two passes defended.
Kicker Steve Hauschka, who was signed on Saturday to replace an injured Matt Prater,Youth Tampa Bay Buccaneers Jersey, was 2 for 3 on field goals, connecting from 30 and 32 yards and missing from 40.
